Project Summary
Thanks to this novel software, the static calculations of buried pipes can be performed and optimum pipe stiffness can be determined under specific load conditions, as per ATV-DVWK-A 127E standard.
The main motivation to start this project is the necessity of challenging effort for determining best pipe section regarding costs which requires an optimization study between pipe stability and rigidity of large diameter pipes (especially made of plastics) exposed to external soil loads in infrastructure pipe systems.
